Last Saturday 22nd April was Earth Day!
However, we know Earth Day is about more than just one day of the year, so here are just some of the things we are doing to improve our sustainability and protect the environment:
- Replacing all traditional lights with LED lights across both our sites, therefore, halving our yearly energy consumption.
- Using less paper inside job bags, we store documents digitally instead.
- Partnering with material suppliers who share our views on sustainability.
- Encouraging employees to join the Cycle to work scheme.
- We now recycle more than 90% of all waste, and any non-recyclable waste is sent to help generate sustainable energy.
- We’ve helped over 150 card programmes move to our Earth Card range – saving over 4,500 tonnes of PVC plastic since 2017.
