Now in his third year with Incodia, Richard is responsible for ensuring our very busy printing operations run like a finely oiled machine.
As the UK’s largest supplier of gift, loyalty and membership cards, it’s critical our production facilities are well organised so everything is produced on-time, in-full and to the highest standards.
Richard’s role as Production Manager sees him oversee planning for both of our print works in Colchester and Lancashire. With his planning abilities, we ensure that when our colleagues make promises to our clients, our print operations keep them!
Richard arrived at Incodia in 2019 with almost 30 years’ experience in the print sector.
“Technology-wise, a lot has changed in my time, but not the need to be well organised, efficient and keep a constant eye on quality.”
“We produce hundreds of millions of cards, carriers and – increasingly – packaging, every year. The satisfaction of our customers is testament to our great team, investment in the latest print technology and the processes we use to meet our clients’ needs.”
Similar to the varying needs of our clients, Richard has extensive experience at both ends of the spectrum, from short run digital printing to large-scale offset printing – skills he applies every day planning the use of both our Kyocera TASKalfa Pro ‘Print-on-Demand’ printer and our flagship 8 colour Heidelberg CX Speedmaster.
Outside of work, Richard is a grass roots football fan of local non-league side Aveley, who have just been promoted after winning the league. Away from the pitch side, he looks stateside for his sporting fix by following NHL Ice Hockey and NFL American Football.
Married with three daughters, Richard enjoys exploring the woods and beach with his family and likes nothing more than kayaking down the river Chelmer on a warm summer evening.
